  • What are your business hours?

    All our branches are opened to cater for your optical and hearing needs. Opening days and times vary by branch, as some branches will be opened even on Poya and special holidays. It’s always best to call the branch before visiting. Click on the branch name here for their contact number.

  • Do you have an optometrist in all branches?

    Yes, we do. Our staff is well trained and qualified to assist you with your eye examinations.

  • Do I need to make an appointment?

    It’s always best to call your nearest branch or our hotline 011 75 75 100 and schedule an appointment to ensure timely service. However, we do accept walk-ins for eye examinations for both glasses and contact lenses.

  • How much does an eye exam or contact lens exam cost?

    For pricing on specific exams from our experienced optometrists, please visit or call one of our branches near you.

  • Do I still need an eye exam if I already have a prescription?

    Even if you have an existing prescription, we would examine your eyes before recommending a new pair of glasses or contact lenses. If your prescription has expired or for some other reason invalid, or if you feel like your vision has changed, we suggest scheduling an exam with an optometrist in one of our branches.

  • What are the types of eye examinations available at Vision Care?

    Vision care offers an array of eye examinations including Refraction, GDX, Visual Field Tests, Fundus Photography, Orthoptic Tests, Eye Pressure and Colour Vision Test. Please click here for more information on eye investigations.

  • What are the eyewear brands available at Vision Care and how much are they?

    We take pride in catering to customers of varying ages & social standards. While Vision Care features a stunning range of top global eyewear brands such as Cartier, Gucci, Mont Blanc, Maui Jim, Boss, Porsche Design, Lindberg, Tom Ford, Bvlgari, Prada, Burberry, Emporio, Armani, we also carry a wide variety of cost-friendly eyewear brands. Since we are constantly changing to keep up with trends, we change the inventory frequently so stop in to see the latest brands and styles. We are authorised retailers for all of the designer brands that we sell online and in our outlets. Therefore, we can guarantee that all of our glasses and sunglasses are authentic. Our frames & sunglasses comes in different price points to fit individual customer requirements in accordance to their profession, eye sight, affordability etc.

  • How to choose the right type of lenses for eyeglasses and what are the prices?

    Our opticians are happy to explain your options and recommend the best lenses and coatings for your prescription. Vision Care is proud to use eyeglass lenses from Essilor, the world’s leading manufacturer of lenses to correct or protect eyesight. Lenses are priced at LKR 2500 upwards.

  • How long will it take for me to receive my eyeglasses

    Depending on the selected lenses, and medical prescription, our staff should give customers placing in-store orders an exact day of when their glasses would be ready for collection or delivery. Eyeglasses are typically ready for pick-up within 7 business days. If you would like to know the status of your order, please contact us on the number available on your invoice.

  • What are the types of contact lenses available at Vision Care?

    ‘Soft’ and ‘hard’ contact lenses are the two main categories of lenses, but there are a number of different options available within these groups in a variety of colors as well.

  • Are returns or exchanges allowed for eyeglasses / contact lenses?

    Your optical purchase is a custom order that cannot be resold and therefore it is non-refundable. The order cannot be cancelled after it has begun. We will, however, work with you to assure your satisfaction with the products you select during your visit.

  • Does Vision Care repair damaged frames?

    If you damage your frames, bring them to any Vision Care store. We will happily repair or replace the frames if necessary. Costs may apply if the eyeglasses are not covered under any warranty.

  • Do you adjust frames?

    The optical departments at all Vision Care locations are willing and able to adjust your eyeglasses. Please note that if the eyeglasses were not purchased at Vision Care, you may be charged a nominal fee. Vision Care is not responsible for any frame breakage or damage if the frame is not purchased at a Vision Care location.

  • Can sunglasses be made into my prescription?

    Yes. A variety of colors are available in tints and polarization, which blocks more glare. We have styles available from sporty to high fashion at prices starting from LKR 4000 upwards. Please visit our nearest branch for more details.

  • How do I find the right hearing aid for me?

    We accept cash, credit and debit card payments.

  • How do I order online?

    You can make online purchases through our website (shop.visioncare.lk) by simply adding the frame of your choice to your cart and uploading your current prescription. Our online team review all prescriptions before processing and will get in touch with you if there are any issues.
